ECO Imagination participated in the BIOFAIRNET Project General Assembly in Greece, together with consortium partners. The meeting brought together technical, strategic, and stakeholder-oriented activities aimed at advancing a fair, circular, and digitally enabled bioeconomy.
ECO Imagination was represented on-site by Erika Quiñones Bonilla, who contributed to consortium discussions and stakeholder engagement activities throughout the week.
A week structured around four key moments
Day 1 – Athens | Industrial and Pilot Visits
The first day was dedicated to technical visits at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Partners explored analytical laboratories, reactor facilities, and BIOFAIRNET Pilot Site 1, gaining first-hand insights into ongoing research and innovation activities.
Day 2 – Executive Board Meeting
The Executive Board reviewed the project’s Year 1 achievements and key milestones, assessed deliverables and risks, and discussed potential amendments as well as financial performance.
Day 3 – Consortium Meeting
Partners engaged in in-depth discussions across all BIOFAIRNET Work Packages (WP1–WP8), focusing on implementation progress, results achieved, and communication and dissemination activities.
Day 4 – Stakeholder Workshop in Lesvos (Greece)
The week concluded with the first BIOFAIRNET stakeholder workshop dedicated to the agricultural sector, held in Lesvos. The workshop enabled participants to co-design the project’s digital dashboard, identify regional challenges, and develop solutions supporting circularity and the bioeconomy.
