ECO Imagination participated in the SEANERGY General Assembly in Genoa

On 16–17 November 2023, ECO Imagination participated in the 3rd project meeting of SEANERGY, held in Genoa, Italy. The meeting brought together all 12 European partners committed to transforming ports into clean energy hubs.

This meeting provided an opportunity for partners to review achievements from the first 13 months of the project and to define priorities for the next phases of implementation.

At this stage, Work Packages 1 and 2 focused on analysing the current situation of EU ports and identifying gaps in their clean energy transition were nearing completion. These results laid the foundation for the launch of Work Package 3, dedicated to the development of the SEANERGY Master Plan.

The Master Plan aims to provide both consortium partners and external stakeholders with a strategic and operational framework to support the transition of ports towards more sustainable energy solutions. It builds on previous findings to deliver practical guidance and decision-making tools.

In parallel, the project is developing an Industry Academy programme designed to prepare port professionals for current and future energy transition challenges, combining theoretical knowledge with real-life decision-making scenarios.

As the partner responsible for communication, dissemination, and exploitation activities, ECO Imagination contributed to enhancing the project’s visibility and structuring outreach actions towards key stakeholders.

This meeting reinforced collaboration within the consortium and confirmed the project’s strong momentum towards more sustainable and resilient port systems.
