World Clean Up Day 2022 in Nice

On September 17, 2022, Eco Imagination proudly joined the global movement of World Clean Up Day for a day of ecological mobilization in Nice. This event, which brings together millions of participants each year across 191 countries, is much more than a simple clean-up operation: it is a declaration of commitment to our planet.

Local commitment to global impact

As an association dedicated to sustainable development, Eco Imagination coordinated a collective action in the enchanting setting of the Promenade des Anglais and the beaches of Nice. The objective? To raise awareness among citizens about the impact of waste on the environment and to take concrete action by cleaning up these emblematic places.

Summary of the day:

  • 50 volunteers mobilized, including families, students, and local partners.

  • 120 kg of waste collected, including plastic, cigarette butts, and other often overlooked waste.

  • Spontaneous educational sessions to inform passers-by about the importance of sorting and eco-responsible actions.

Unity is strength

The success of this day is the result of a great collaboration. Thanks to the support of the municipality of Nice and the involvement of several local associations, we were able to provide cleaning equipment (gloves, biodegradable bags, tongs) and ensure the proper management of the waste collected.

Why participate in World Clean Up Day?

At Eco Imagination, we firmly believe that every action counts. World Clean Up Day is an opportunity to bring citizens together around a common cause, to strengthen collective awareness of environmental issues, and to inspire positive momentum for the future.

Participating also means inspiring and setting an example. This type of event is part of our mission: to connect, inform and act to protect our planet's limited resources.
