World Clean Up Day 2023: A citizen mobilization for a cleaner world

On September 16, 2023 , Eco Imagination enthusiastically participated in World Clean Up Day , a global movement dedicated to fighting pollution and preserving the environment. This day, which brings together millions of volunteers in more than 190 countries , was a unique opportunity to take concrete action to clean up our planet and raise public awareness of the problem of litter.

For this 2023 edition, Eco Imagination led a collective clean-up on the beaches of Nice , in partnership with local associations, schools and committed companies . More than 120 volunteers answered the call, armed with gloves, sorting bags and boundless energy to collect waste abandoned on the coastline.

After several hours of effort, the results were impressive:

✅ More than 300 kg of waste collected , the majority of which was plastic and cigarette butts.

✅ 80% of waste was recyclable , highlighting the importance of better waste management.

✅ A collective awareness of the urgency of adopting more sustainable habits.

World Clean Up Day 2023 demonstrated that every action counts , and that when we act together, the impact is real. Eco Imagination warmly thanks all the participants, partners of the city of Nice and volunteers who contributed to the success of this initiative.
